6th World Water Forum of Marseilles - European Regional Process - First meeting of the Consortium Steering Committee

To ensure the best possible coordination with the organizers of the forthcoming 6th World Water Forum to be held in Marseilles, France, from 12 to 17 March 2012, the International Forum Committee (IFC) has asked to the International Office for Water to facilitate the Regional Process for the preparation of this great event, with regard to the "Greater Europe" Region (including Southern & Easthern Mediterranean) on the basis of the orientation note approved at the last Committee meeting. 

For facilitating this European process it is proposed to create a “coordination consortium”, in which the main European networks concerned will be invited to participate and play an active part in the fields in which each would be willing to have a steering role.
