TourMedEau - Final Conference and "Fête de la Palmeraie" / Tourmedeau – Conférence finale et Fête de la Palmeraie
Le projet CIUDAD - TourMedEau organise sa conférence finale les 29 et 30 Juin à Djerba-Ajim. La conférence a le but de diffuser les résultats acquis au niveau locale et parmi les principales porteurs d’intérêts nationales et aussi de renforcer le parcours pour la réalisation de la station tertiaire de traitement des eaux usées qui a été démarré par le projet TourMedEau et qui devra conduire à la réalisation de la station tertiaire et au projet d’exploitation des eaux recyclées.
Dans la même occasion, la "Fête de la Palmeraie" sera organisé pour promouvoir la réhabilitation des palmeraies et de l’agriculture locale par l’utilisation des eaux recyclés. Au fin de donner un exemple pratique pour la population locale de Djerba-Ajim sur les opportunités des traitements tertiaire des eaux usées et de la réutilisation, une petite palmeraie expérimentale irrigué par des eaux usées sera réalisé proche de la nouvelle station d’épuration à Ajim.

The CIUDAD project – TourMedEau organizes its final conference on 29 and 30 June in Djerba-Ajim (Tunisia). The aim of the conference, that will be held on the 29th, is to disseminate the results at local level and among the stakeholders at national level and also to strengthen the path for the construction of the tertiary wastewater treatment station started by the project in Djerba Ajim. The “Fête de la Palmeraie”, that will be held on the 30th, aims at promoting the rehabilitation of palm groves and of local agriculture by the use of recycled water. Many activities to show to the local population of Ajim the opportunities coming from tertiary wastewater treatment and reuse will be implemented and a tertiary treatment pilot plant will be inaugurated in order to show concretely how recycled water could be used.
