Environment is a global issue and requires an international exchange. Germany enjoys an outstanding reputation in all areas of sustainable environmental management worldwide, and the expertise, know-how and professionalism of German enterprises significantly excel in the cooperation and economic development within the EMA region. More than ever, “Made in Germany” is appreciated and welcomed in the main environmental sectors such as waste management, sustainable energy supply and climate change, as well as desert and climate protection.
To that effect, and subsequent to the highly successful Environment Forum of 2011, the EMA once more provides the perfect platform for an intensive exchange in Jordan:

With a broad network in the region and manifold contacts in Jordan, the EMA will bring leading entrepreneurs, scientists and politicians of the environment sector from Germany, Jordan and the whole EMA region to Amman, to confer on the following main topics:

- Water Management
- Climate Change & Ecotourism
- Sustainable Resource Management & Recycling
Apart from the Jordanian Royal House, the EMA is supported by a six-person expert committee under the direction of H.E. Khaled Najjeb Elshuraydeh, Secretary General of the Higher Council for Science and Technology, as well as by H.E. Senator Riad Al-Saifi, Chairman of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, and H.E. Nayef Hmeide Al-Fayez, Jordanian Minister of Environment. The EMA is pleased to welcome further regional and national partners, such as Majlis Hassan (WANA Forum), Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), the Arab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA), the German-Jordanian University, the Jordan Investment Board, the Royal Scientific Society, the Jordan Ministry of Water and Irrigation, the German Embassy Amman, the Arab World Association of Young Scientists (ArabWAYS), GIZ and other influential research institutions and ministerial representatives.
