Hidroenergia 2014: International Congress and Trade Fair on Small Hydropower

Organized by the European Small Hydropower Association (ESHA), the Congress will focus on promoting interaction on small hydropower (SHP) amongst delegates, speakers, and decision-makers through match-making, round-table sessions and panel discussions on the following topics: economic opportunities and challenges; financing tools and models; policy developments in Turkey, the European Union (EU) and around the world; trends in engineering, including bioengineering and prefabrication; technological development, including on penstocks, turbines and auxiliary mechanical equipment; SHP and the environment; SHP pumped storage and multipurpose plants; and hydropower resources and assessment methodologies.
