The 3rd German-Arab Environment and Energy Forum
In the current challenging times, environment, energy and the economy must go hand in hand in order to achieve sustainable development.
Within that context, efficiency, be it in regard of energy, water, waste and industry, poses a fundamental pillar of sustainable economic growth, since all are intertwined in many ways.
In light of a global trend to a shift to renewable and clean energy, Germany enjoys an outstanding role within that process and can serve as a blueprint for other countries. The final goal of the German Energiewende (energy transition) is to achieve a shift to an energy supply based on renewable energy (80% by the year 2050). But also in other fields of environment management, German expertise, know-how and technology enjoys an outstanding reputation and can most certainly excel in the cooperation and economic development in the EMA region.
In that sense, the Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the German Federal State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as well as the Euro-Mediterranean-Arab Association (EMA e.V.) cordially like to invite you to:
