2017 World Hydropower Congress

From 9–11 May 2017, leaders and specialists from government, industry, finance, UN agencies, academia and civil society will gather in Addis Ababa to set the course for hydropower development over the coming decade.

With installed hydropower capacity set to more than double by 2050, ensuring sustainable development remains a priority. Initiatives from government, business, finance and civil society can converge to help deliver better hydro and, ultimately, better development for all.
