InWEnt Web Based Training on Sector Governance in Urban Sanitation
On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) InWEnt Capacity Building International, Germany in cooperation with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the World Bank Institute (WBI/WB Water Anchor) are organizing an elearning training course on sector governance in urban sanitation.
Objectives:
Enhancing the capacity of local decision-makers to make the most efficient, effective and equitable use of investments in sanitation.
Content, Exercises and Case studies in the following three modules:
- General Introduction of the urban sanitation sector
- Legal and institutional framework of urban sanitation
- Economics, pricing and financing of the sanitation sector
Application and Registration:
Candidates applying for this course are requested to submit
- a self written abstract about the sector governance in urban sanitation (approx. 2 pages as PDF-document) of your country
- a short CV showing their experience in the related field
- the completed application form
- Deadline for application: June 30, 2008
This course is designed as a test online training course free of charge. For attending future courses reduced registration fee will be requested.
