The major waterways as matrices of European cultural identity

Fondazione Benetton Studi e Ricerche organizes "Great way to travel as matrices of European cultural identity", a lecture-concerts in the fifteenth edition of the Festival "Window on the Twentieth Century." The event offers a fascinating journey through the history and sounds along the waterways of our region, the discovery of the ancient civilizations of the water. There are two music conferences (17 and 21 October) devoted to Sile, seen as an ancient inland waterway of the pilgrims, and the historic waterway for inland navigation in the Friuli Venezia. To conclude the event, "The Boat of the words" a concert by Donella Del Monaco (24 October) with songs by boat of the '700 and whose main theme songs of old and new languages are Venetian, which sought to evoke the rich atmosphere of cultural exchange between East and West.
