Heads of ACSAD and ICARDA discuss the cooperation between the two organizations

Prof. Dr. Farouk Saleh Fares, Director- General of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD) received at his office on 17 January 2008 Dr. Mahmoud Solh , Director- General of the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA).

Prof. Dr. Fares and Dr. Solh discussed the bilateral ties between the two organizations and the methods and means of activating the cooperation between the two sides in the fields of mutual concern, especially in the projects for monitoring and combating desertification, water resources, mathematical modeling, cereal program, monitoring the degradation of the vegetative cover and the question of climatic change.
