International Finance Corporation hiring two sustainable water specialists - closing date Feb 21

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group, is accepting applications from experienced water professionals to support expansion of our global Sustainable Water investment and advisory business. With climate change defined as a pillar of IFC's strategy, IFC looks to rapidly scale-up its impact on water markets--specifically initiatives which leverage IFC's investment and advisory business to promote effective water use and to extend access to safe water and sanitation services. IFC seeks an experienced water professional with strong strategic, program management, and technical expertise to build this practice integral to IFC's global advisory and investment businesses. Working as part of a network of specialized sustainable energy and water professionals based at regional hubs around the world, successful candidates will bring technical and market expertise, as well as a proven track record of demonstrated impact in the water sector.  

Two positions, based in New Delhi and Washington, DC. are currently open for applicants, with a closing date of February 21, 2010.
