EMWIS Newsletter no. 6-2010 - IV Euro-Mediterranean Ministerial Conference on Water, 13 April 2010, Barcelona

EMWIS has just published its newsletter n°6, which was prepared for the Ministerial conference on water of the Union for the Mediterranean, Barcelona, 13 April 2010. This issue includes other topics such as: the main steps of the water cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean region since Barcelona 1995, the first National Water information System in the Mediterranean (Tunisia), Converging interests with the african water facility (Tunisia), Water monitoring networks and programmes (Beirut), Drought and water scarcity (Madrid), Cataloguing water information sources (Nice), and the agreement signed between EMWIS and "Ambassade de l'Eau".
