The hydria project: a bilingual webpage on water technologies of the past, existing around the Mediterranean
www.hydriaproject.net is a bilingual website (ENG and Arabic) aiming to unveil the water technologies and wisdom of the civilisations around the Mediterranean.
So far, 6 countries participate, with 1-5 case studies, each. You and your students are invited to browse the website and discover the wealth of information, presented in the form of Animations, Photos, Stories and Texts.
HYDRIA was undertaken by MIO-ECSDE/MEdIES in 2008-09 and was funded by the UNESCO Participation Programme, MIO-ECSDE and the GWP-Med.
