Announcement of the Mediterranean Session of EFIAQUA: "The Situation in Mediterranean countries and the Strategy for Water in the Mediterranean"

The International Fair for Efficient Water Management EFIAQUA will take place 16-18 February 2011 in Valencia (Spain). EFIAQUA will be jointly celebrated with the International Fair of Environmental Solutions ECOFIRA and EGÉTICA - EXPO ENERGËTICA.

Five strategic sectors will be covered by this event:

• 􀂃 Desalination
• 􀂃 Water treatment
• 􀂃 Water purification
• 􀂃 Water collection
• 􀂃 Water reuse
• 􀂃 Other sectors: water supply and distribution, flood control and coastal protection, engineering, consulting, project financing, analysis tools, etc.

The fair welcomes professionals specialising in planning and executing major water projects for the water industry, and takes place from 16-18 February at the Feria Valencia complex in Spain.

The fair is run by trade associations, SEOPAN and SERCOBE, which are the National Association of Construction Companies and the National Association of Manufacturers of Capital Equipment respectively.

Efiaqua is aimed both at the authorities and at companies specialising in the management of water resources and will feature an exhibit area showing the products from water treatment and recycling companies, specialist flood control, coastal protection, water engineering work and technology companies etc.

In addition to the exhibition of products and services there will be a programme of parallel events designed to address the need to use water, a natural resource of inestimable value, rationally. Also ECOFIRA (the International Environmental Solutions Fair) and EGÉTICA-EXPOENERGÉTICA (the Energy Fair) will be running simultaneously with EFIAQUA under the new umbrella title of Environment Fairs, creating substantial synergies between the exhibitors at the three events.
