The 7th issue of the Dinaric Arc Sustainable Hydropower Initiative (DASHI) Newsletter is now available. This newsletter provides information on the latest developments of the DASHI project as well as further news relevant to freshwater and hydropower in the larger region.

This newsletter provides information on the latest developments of the Dinaric ArcSustainable Hydropower Initiative (DASHI) as well as further news on freshwater andhydropower in the region. DASHI was launched by WWF in 2011. The Initiative aimsto reduce the adverse impacts of hydropower development in the Western Balkans andto promote good practices in the region. The project focuses on the protection of theregion’s most precious freshwater ecosystems, in particular Ramsar wetlands such asLivanjsko Polje and Hutovo Blato in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Lake Skadar sharedby Albania and Montenegro.
