All Maltese Households To Get Free ‘Water Kit’ As €13 Million Conservation Campaign Is Announced

A new €13 million plan aimed at teaching Maltese people how to use their water more efficiently has been launched in September 2019 and will include all houses being given a free water-kit as well as a three-year travelling educational road show.

The Minister for Energy and Water Management Joe Mizzi announced the ‘Water Be The Change’, an educational and awareness building drive focused on the optimisation and more efficient use of water resources meant to facilitate a cultural shift in people’s behaviour towards water conservation on the Maltese islands.
