MINISTERIAL DECLARATION AN URGENT CALL FOR DECISIVE ACTION ON WATER

The Ministerial Declaration of the 8th World Water Forum entitled "Urgent call for decisive action on the water" was approved this Tuesday (20), during the session at Ulysses Guimarães Convention Center in Brasília. The document is the result of discussions between Ministers and heads of delegations from more than 100 countries. The Declaration recognizes that all countries need to take urgent action to address the challenges related to water and sanitation, establishing some actions considered top priorities. The document also points out that the partnerships formed during the 8th Forum are essential to implement the Declaration.
