Tunisia: Closure of the institutional twinning project on protection of water resources and public hydraulic domain

Launched in 2019, the institutional twinning project between Tunisia, Belgium, France and Austria supported the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Fishery during 3 years with a budget of 1.5 M€ to protect the country water resources and control the public hydraulic domain. The project ended in November 2022. It contributed to the implementation of the Tunisian water law (code de l'eau), improving inter-sectoral coordination and setting up a water police.
