Project The Supply With Potable Water In Matn And Jerd Aaley And Compl.of Other Projects

The Project consists of Construction of Habash dam with a capacity of about 550.000 CM, extension of Baqleaa WTP with additional capacity of about 4000 CM/D. Construction of 3 tube wells 320 M deep, installation of 3 pumps, construction of 2 pumping station of a capacity of about 100 L/SEC and 6 L/SEC, construction of 3 reservoirs with a total capacity of about 3600 CM, installation of distribution network of a total length of about 8 Km, Construction of Chlorination unit.

Construction of 4 wells 120-400 M deep, construction of 3 pumping stations two with a capacity of 8300 CM/D each and third of 7800 CM/D, construction of 9 reservoirs with a total capacity of about 8500 M and installation of transmission lines 46 Km long with diameters 80-300 MM.

Completion works in other uncompleted projects in Batron, Akar, Barouk, Harmal, Baalabak, Zahlah and Bekaa. The Project also includes provision of necessary consultancy services.

Objectives The Project aims at meeting the demand for potable water up to year 2026 for the villages located in Matn and Aaley areas through the use of surface and ground water to provide approximately 19,000 CM/D. The Project shall also contribute to availing additional quantities of water in some uncompleted projects in other areas in the country.
